| 内容提要 | 本文基于2000-2013年中国30个地区共计261个地级及以上城市的平衡面板数据，利用柯布-道格拉斯生产函数形式的随机前沿面板模型（SFA），使用极大似然估计法考察了中国城市行政等级、城市规模对城市生产效率的影响以及不同区域城市生产效率的差异性。实证结果表明：（1）城市行政等级越高，城市生产低效率状态越严重。直辖市的生产效率＜非直辖市的生产效率；直辖市的生产效率＜副省级城市和一般省会城市的生产效率＜一般地级城市的生产效率；广义的高行政等级城市生产效率＜广义的低行政等级城市生产效率。（2）无论是从全国层面还是从东、中、西三个区域层面，城市规模对城市生产效率产生了显著的正向影响。（3）不同区域的城市生产效率呈现出不同的特征。东部地区的城市生产效率显著地高于西部18.5%~18.9%,而中部地区的城市生产效率略高于西部但不显著。 |
| Abstract | Based on the 261 cities’ balanced panel data of China’ thirty regions from 2000 to 2013, this paper makes use of Cobb-Douglas production function incorporated in stochastic frontier model, and uses the method of Maximum Likelihood Estimate(MLE) to analyze the effects of urban administrative hierarchy and urban scale on urban production efficiency and the different characteristic of urban production efficiency. The results show that: (1)The higher the level of cities’ administrative hierarchy is ,the more serious the state of low production efficiency in the city are. The production efficiency in the municipality is less than that of non-municipality. The production efficiency in the municipality is less than that of deputy provincial cities and capital city. And the latter is smaller than the production efficiency in general cities.(2)Whether the national level or the three regions’ level, cities’ scales have a significantly positive impact on the production efficiency .(3) Cities of different regions in China show the different characteristics. The production efficiency of cities in the east region is significantly higher than that of cities in the west region (18.5%~18.9%),and the production efficiency of cities in the west region is higher than that of central region ,but the difference is not significant. |
