| 内容提要 | 本文将企业对外投资行为纳入多产品企业的分析框架，并探讨了投资便利化、贸易自由化对企业出口多样性以及企业生产率的作用机理。研究发现，单边投资便利化和贸易自由化对于本国而言是一种“损己利人”的行为，而双边投资便利化和贸易自由化将会使得本国与贸易伙伴国的福利均有所上升。并且投资便利化和贸易自由化对企业出口多样性的影响大相径庭，投资便利化会使得高生产率企业出口多样性增加，低生产率企业出口多样性下降，而贸易自由化会使得企业出口范围缩减，但两者均会使得企业生产率提升，提高资源配置效率。利用2000—2006年的工业企业数据库与海关数据库的匹配数据也验证了这一结论，并且对生产率促进效应进行进一步分析发现，无论是贸易自由化还是投资便利化，对生产率较低的企业而言，生产率促进作用更为显著。 |
| Abstract | This paper builds a model based on multiproduct firm to analyze the firm’s foreign investment, and investigates the mechanism how investment facilitation and trade liberalization affect the firm’s productivity and exports variety. The model shows unilateral facilitation and liberalization have a positive effect on trading partner’s welfare at the expense of home country’s welfare, whereas bilateral facilitation and liberalization would rise the welfare of both countries. Facilitation and liberalization have different effect on firm’s exports variety, facilitation make the firm increase variety while liberalization decrease. However, facilitation and liberalization both make the firm’s productivity increase and improve the efficiency of resource allocation. The data of Chinese firm from 2000 to 2006 proves our conclusion, and the productivity improvement effect of investment facilitation will be more significant than trade liberalization for high-productivity firm. |
